Yep, the end is nigh, people. (Rings the bell of doom 🔔) The final book in the Whitewood Journals goes off to my editor on May 3. It feels like sending my child off to college: terrifying, exciting, dreadful, satisfying, depressing, and joyous. In other words, I’m an emotional wreck this weekend.
Hence, the bell of doom.
To take my mind off the fact that someone will pick apart my baby starting next week, I’m diving into the self-editing part of the writing process for Earthborn 3. No rest for the wicked!
My other goal for May is to learn the TikTok. That’s what the kids call it, right. The TikTok? Like the Google? I hear they have a big book community and because I’m always behind the times, I only yesterday downloaded the app. I was immediately overwhelmed, but it looks like fun. We’ll see. I might just end up posing a lot of videos of me walking my dog, Hunter.
Anyway, I don’t have anything particularly exciting to say today. Given that, I invite you to like by Facebook page. I recently reinstated it after taking a long, hard look at my social media use. Also, if you want to hear from me outside of this blog, I invite you to sign up for my newsletter. Link is on every page of this website (near the top).
Now, go read a book!
